I feel as if I'm not that much of a wasteful person, but I guess I am a wasteful person. My reflection showed that to support my lifestyle there would need to be 4.5 earths, which was pretty shocking to me. Now that I think about it I really do buy much more than I need. Like for example I still have shoes in the boxes never opened and clothes with tags still on them just hanging there in the closet. Really brands aren't that important to me, but it also depends on what I'm looking for. When it comes to advertisements I'm never really persuaded because I'm not focused and zoned out most of the time. I think one thing I could change to make peace with the earth is not buy different types of the same thing and fix things that are broken.
